Barbara Jean McCullough, 86, Topeka, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018.
She was born September 18, 1931, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Everett and Wanetta (Gibbs) Parnell.
She graduated from Topeka High School.
Barbara was employed by the DA, MTMCWA, Topeka Regional Storage Management Office at Forbes Field as a supervisory storage agreements specialist for the Army for 38 1/2 years retiring December 29, 1989.
On September 17, 1949, she married William Logan McCullough in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two grandchildren: Chelsie (Dane) Calvert, Gardner, KS and "TJ" Thomas James McCullough, Baldwin City, KS.
She was preceded in death by her children, Sherry Talley, William D. McCullough and sister, Beverly Oliver.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
