Barbara Hines

Barbara B. Hines, 82, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Westwood Manor. She was born May 4, 1927 in Emmett, Kansas to Oscar and Blanche (Isnogle) Gideon.

Barbara married Jack T. Hines on February 5, 1959 in Topeka, he preceded her in death on December 2, 1991. She was a member of Women of the Moose Post No. 555 and Countryside United Methodist Church.

Barbara is survived by her son Michael Hines; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Barbara will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4 at the funeral home.
