Aurelio Munoz Jiménez, 90, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
He was born June 16, 1933, in Shiner, Texas, the son of Juan and Virginia (Jimenez) Munoz.
Aurelio was employed with Skinners Nursery.
Aurelio married Juanita Leal on May 7, 1970 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Juan Munoz (Laura Munoz), Martha Munoz (Jose Alvarado), Maria Isabel Wright (Lee A Wright Jr.), Francisca Martinez (Salvador Martinez), Rafael Munoz, and Pedro Munoz (Chole Howe) Virginia Meraz (Luis Meraz); Three siblings, Apolonia Munoz, Alfonso Munoz, and Eutiquio Munoz; 26 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings, Felix Munoz, Jose Munoz, Emiteria Flores, Julia Zuniga and Juanita Munoz.
Aurelio enjoyed Traveling, buying cars and playing with the grandkids.
Visitation will begin at 10am followed by funeral services at 11am on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
