Audrey Louise Fellman, 90, passed away Thursday, August 30th, 2012, at Midland Care Hospice, Topeka, KS.
Audrey was born May 23, 1922, at Elmdale, KS, to Walter & Lena Schlup. She attended schools in Saffordville and Emporia, KS. She married William A. Fellman, February 21, 1942.
Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, as well as brothers Floyd, Dale, Ted and Victor Schlup.
Audrey worked as a secretary for Family Service & Guidance Center for 17 years, retiring in 1984.
Audrey was a member of the Sunrise Campers Club, bowled at Gage Center for several years, square danced with the Kounty Kousins and played cards with friends and family at every opportunity.
Survivors include her companion of 22 years Cecil Shafer, Topeka, daughters Donna (Terry) Reeves, Austin, TX, Marcia (Jack) McGinnis, Topeka, and son William (Maryann) Fellman, Minneapolis, MN, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brothers Dick, Emporia, and John, Manhattan, along with several nieces and nephews.
Audrey taught us all the meaning of "loving family". Her strength of character and unconditional love of life and family will live with us forever. Audrey Louise Fellman-a life well lived.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, September 8th, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 6th & Gage, Topeka.
