Asa Thomas Roberts, 90. Topeka, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2005 at a local Hospice house.
Asa was born September 26, 1914 in Horton, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Reardon Roberts. He was one of eight children.
He worked at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita and moved to Topeka in 1940 where he began working for the Gas Service Company. Asa retired in 1976 and spent his retirement traveling and fishing.
Asa married Evelyn Bryan on December 5, 1939. She died in 1977. He later married Arlene Stapleton. She died in 1999. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Harrison.
Survivors include a grandson, Troy Harrison, Merriam and a sister, Ella Nivens, Lakeside, CA and several nieces and nephews along with many friends at Brewster Place.
Cremation is planned and per Mr. Roberts request, no services are scheduled.
