Arthur Hase
Arthur Albert Hase, 78, of Topeka, passed away, Monday, August 18, 2003 at Midland Hospice.
He was born June 27, 1925 in Overbrook, Kansas the son of Rudolph and Eva (Cox) Hase. He attended Overbrook High School.
Arthur married Betty Lou Koehler of Richland in 1949 at Carbondale, Kansas.
He was a military veteran serving in the United States Army. He was a member of Capitol Post #1 American Legion.
He began employment with Billard Airport in 1957 then worked for the Metropolitan Topeka Airport Authority. He retired after 31 years of service.
Survivors include:
his wife, Betty Hase Topeka, KS
one daughter, Nancy Godfrey Berryton, KS
two sons, Allen and David Hase both of Lawrence, KS
one brother, Robert Hase Gladstone, MO
four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 9:00am Thursday, August 21, at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mr. Hase will lie in state after 12:00 noon Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will greet friends Thursday morning one half hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Midland Hospcie, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
