Armin A. Pryor, 76, of Topeka, died suddenly, Wednesday, February, 6, 2013 at Stormont Vail Medical Center.
He was born January 19, 1937, in Mexico, MO. to Frank and Elaine (Banks) Pryor. Armin attended and graduated from McLouth High School in 1955. He then attended Tarkio College in Tarkio Missouri prior to honorably serving in the US Army. Following his service he attended and graduated from Emporia State University earning a BA in Psychology & Education, a BS in Education and a Masters in Psychology. Armin began his career as a teacher and coach in Linwood, Kansas and Lansing Kansas where he taught middle school and at Lansing State Prison. Armin worked and retired from the Seaman School District for 30 years as a school psychologist. His hobby was working and living on his farm as he always raised cattle.
Armin is survived by his only child, daughter Aline E. Pryor-Holler, husband George, and grand children Sidney (16) and Benjamin (9) of Overland Park, KS. He was adored and beloved by many but especially his daughter and grand children. Armin's wishes were to be cremated. A private family Memorial Service will be held at their home in Overland Park, Kansas later this spring. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka, is assisting the family with arrangements.
