Henderson, North Carolina. She was a former member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Schenectadym
NY; Welcome Chapel Missionary Baptist Chruch, Albany, NY; and Mt. Carmel Misionary Baptist Church, Topeka.
She joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Topeka on Oct. 5, 1986, and remained a member there until her
death. She was employed as a nurse's aide at Childs Hospital, Albany, NY until retiring due to her illness in 1968.
She moved to Topeka in 1974.
