Arlys P. "Perry" Sakata, 86, passed away on July 19, 2011. She was born Sept. 5, 1924, in Sumner, IA. Perry was a longtime resident of Alliance, NE, and Wichita, KS.
She is survived by daughters, Tami Hoover of Bargersville, IN and Tracy Leonard, of Topeka, KS; son, Robert Sakata of Wichita, KS; siblings, Gary Sebbert of Muskatine, IA, and Shirley Breiner of Humboldt, KS; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Perry was cremated. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Grace Lutheran Church, 3310 East Pawnee Street, Wichita, KS 67218-5598. Memorial contributions may be given to the church or Starkey, Inc., 4500 W. Maple, Wichita, KS.
