Arle Ann (Bryant) Lamberd, 79, of Topeka, passed away March 12, 2024 at Rolling Hills Health and Rehab in Topeka, KS. She was born March 14, 1944 to Arley and Martha (Gossage) Bryant in Excelsior Springs, MO.
On October 19, 1974 she married Dennis Lamberd, with whom she raised five children.
Arle Ann graduated from Concordia High School in Concordia, KS in 1962. In high school she played oboe in the band and was editor of the school paper, and participated in other activities. She graduated from Brown Mackie in Salina, KS, Cloud County Community College in Concordia, KS, and Washburn University in Topeka, KS.
Arle Ann was retired from employment with the state of Kansas and was a member of Cross Road Community Church in Scranton, KS. Her family and friends were comforted by her kindness and compassion. Family recalls that she was always for the underdog. She was known for her profound love for animals, and those most vulnerable.
Arle Ann is survived by daughters; Mary Jennings (Mike), Scranton, KS; Sara McKissick, Matthews, NC; sons; Kevin Lamberd (Julie), Raytown, MO; Sean Lamberd, Statesboro, GA; Jim Willis (Anita), Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren; Sean Lamberd II, Ryan Willis, Gideon Lamberd, Caroline McDonald, Laken Jennings, Daniel Willis, Luke Willis, Aurora Lamberd, Caleb Jennings, Lilly McKissick, Anika Jennings; great-grandson; Sean Lamberd III; siblings; Bill Bryant (Becky), Overland Park, KS; Greg Bryant (Susan), Robinson, KS; Brad Bryant, Silver Lake, KS; and Marsha Jo Scott (Eric), Olathe, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Dennis Lamberd, parents; Arley and Martha Bryant, sister-in-law; Nancy Bryant, son-in-law; Pat McKissick, and daughter-in-law; Cathy Lamberd.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, on March 15, 2024 at Cross Road Community Church, 512 Mason St, Scranton, KS 66537. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Topeka, KS is in charge of arrangements.
