Arbelle E. Williams, 96, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Aldersgate Retirement Village.

Arbelle was born June 4, 1916, in Mill Creek, OK, to Calvin and Florence Harris. She graduated from Bloomfield Indian Academy in Oklahoma. Arbelle was a lunchroom cook in California and worked for Josten's in Topeka. She was a member of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma. Arbelle loved bingo, cooking, dancing and playing slot machines at the casinos.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Wigington, Ralph Williams and Wilford Dowell; her parents; three sisters; and a brother.

She is survived by her daughter Mildred "Mickey" Brewer of Lyndon, KS; two sons, Lee (Pam) Wigington of San Bernardino, CA and Jim Wigington of Dallas, OR; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 24, 2012, at the Mount Hope Chapel, 4700 SW 17th Street. Burial will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 555 N Woodlawn, Suite 113, Wichita, KS 67208, in memory of Raymond Brewer.
