Annie Lee Edwards, 92, Topeka, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006 at a local nursing home.
She was born April 1, 1914 in Lowe, Arkansas, the daughter of Charlie and Ida Hines Edwards, and had lived in Topeka since 1959.
Annie retired as a housekeeping supervisor at the Docking State Office Building.
Survivors include her son, Willie Lee Walker, Topeka; seven grandchildren, William, Little Rock, AR, James, Manhattan, DeLois, Manuel, Sandra, Debra, Brady, all of Topeka; 15 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Interment will be in Topeka Cemetery.
Annie will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
