Anni Rich

Anni Rich, 76, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Wichita Falls, TX where she had been residing for the past two years. She was born on April 13, 1930 in Schney, Bavaria, Germany the daughter of Ludwig and Kunigunda Deuerling Bickler. On August 18, 1956 Anni married Maurice Rich while he was stationed with the U.S. Military in Germany. He preceded her in death on April 11,1983. After Maurice's assignment in Germany was complete, they came to the United States on October 27,1957 and later moved to Topeka in November of 1966. She was also preceded in death by one son, Victor Rich and two brothers. Survivors include two sons, Michael Rich and wife, Jamie of Wichita Falls, TX, Ralph Rich of Topeka, twin daughters, Mollie Rich and Louise Rich, both of Topeka and one granddaughter, Felicia. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Anni will lie in state from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1315 S.W.
