Anna Laura Workman, 90, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Midland Hospice House.
Ann was born June 12, 1916 in Scranton, the daughter of Robert and Anna (Gunterman) Ridinger.
She belonged to the V.F. W. Philip Billard Post 1650 and volunteered at the V.A. Hospital.
She was married to Raymond Workman. He died in 1969.
Ann and Ray operated a business maintaining vehicles for the telephone company in Houston, Texas.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Workman on December 25, 1999.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Mrs. Workman will lie in state at the funeral home after 3:00 p.m. today.
