Anne Poland Page, 57, of Topeka died peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 26, 2004, following a long illness.
She was born September 29, 1947 in Topeka, to Captain Claude A. and Virginia L. Mote Poland. She graduated from Topeka High School and attended Washburn University.
She married Stephen R. Page on December 23, 1966, and they lived in Europe for two years in the late 1960s. Anne worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and several advertising agencies. She was a volunteer and volunteer coordinator for the Topeka Public Schools, and she was a Campfire Girl Troop Leader. She was a skilled cook and took considerable pride and satisfaction in creating memorable feasts for family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen R. Page, her daughters Sarah E. Page, Lawrence, and Elizabeth Barber and her husband Herman Barber, Round Rock, Texas. She is also survived by 2 granddaughters, Alexandria and Haley Barber, also of Round Rock, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Captain Claude A. Poland and Virginia L. Mote Poland and her brother, Mark A. Poland.
