Ann Argo, 91, of Topeka, passed away on May 23, 2017.
She was born on October 13, 1925 in Atchison, KS to George and Gladys England.
She attended Atchison schools. Following her education she moved to Topeka, KS, where she met Robert Argo. The couple was married in June of 1951 in Fort Smith, AR. The couple was married for 51 years, until Robert's passing in 2003.
Ann was a published short story author, and a former member of Kansas Authors Club. In her later years, she became an avid painter, artist, and sold her works in galleries in various states, as well as locally. She was also a proud former member of the Topeka Art Guild.
She is survived by her son Griff Argo (Genell Schultes), of Topeka; and a daughter Becky (Ron) Holeman of Golden, CO.
Ann was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Burks.
In honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission, PO Box 8350 600 N Kansas Avenue, Topeka, KS 66608.
