Anita Schultz

Anita M. Schultz, 76 of Osage City, formerly of Topeka, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2004 at a Topeka hospital. She was born August 24, 1928 in Lawrence, KS , the daughter of Silas and Pauline Douglas Smith. She attended Topeka High School and graduated from Clarks School of Business. Mrs. Schultz worked at the Shawnee County Courthouse, Commerce Bank and Capital City Bank. .

She was married to Melvin L. Schultz, October 7, 1945 in Alma, KS. He preceeded her in death in September 1999. A son, Larry Schultz also preceeded her in death in June, 1952. One sister, Virginia Wendt died in 1987

Survivors include a son, Ronald Schultz and his wife Debbie, Topeka, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and a sister, Shirley Solis, Topeka.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1,.2004 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid town Chapel. Interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Schultz will lie in state at the funeral home from noon on Tuesday until the time of services.
