Anita Hill

Anita "Kay" Hill, 65, of Topeka, died Friday, December 10, 2004 at a Tulsa, Oklahoma hosptial. She was born on April 19, 1939 at Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of James and Jean Baber Wilson. She grew up in Cunningham, Kansas and moved to Topeka in 1967. She was employed for several years as a substitute secretary for USD 501. She did volunteer work for the International House at Washburn University and was a member of a music study club. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and was active in the church choir, served as a deacon., was active in the Presbyterian Women and helped with vacation bible school. She married Larry J. Harris on August 22, 1959 in Pratt, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1995. She married Charles Hill on November , 2001 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Stacie J. James of Topeka, a stepson, Charlie Hill, Overland Park, two grandsons, Cody and Nicky, a stepgrandson, Scott, a stepgranddaughter, Sarah, her mother, Jean Wilson of Austin, Texas, one sister, Karen Hartle of Austin, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Private inurnment took place in Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1275 S.W. Boswell, Topeka, Ks., 66604 or Midland Hospice Care, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, Ks., 66606. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
