Andrea Marie Morgan, 23, of Ozawkie, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022.
She was born June 20, 1999, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Maria (Richardson) Morgan and James Morgan.
Waiting to greet her in Heaven were her Grandpa John Richardson, and her Uncle Joseph "Joey" Richardson, where they welcomed her Home.
Andrea will greet one day, those now still living which include her parents; sister, Amber Morgan; Hometown Grandma, Janet Richardson; and her many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She graduated from Olathe Northwest High School in 2017 and enrolled at the University of Kansas.
Andrea was so thoughtful, and always enjoyed bringing joy to others. She was a social butterfly, always communicating with friends and loved ones, and cared most about making others happy. She loved knowing what was going on in the world. She was a huge sports fan, enjoyed watching any sporting event on TV, but most of all her beloved Chiefs. Andrea was granted her wish through Make A Wish Foundation and enjoyed a beautiful trip to Hawaii. She was very caring, loving and incredibly thoughtful, always making sure everyone was taken care of and kept everyone informed on the things that matter. Andrea suffered so many challenges, but it never stopped her from snuggling and loving on the little babies that were around and you could always find her with a radiant smile and a positive attitude.
Andrea will lie in state beginning at 9am Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 6 pm on Thursday followed by visitation until 8 pm all at the funeral home. Andrea's family will greet friends beginning at 9am, followed by funeral services at 10am on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be at McFarland Cemetery, McFarland, KS.
