Andra K. "Sandy" Pucek, 62, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Midland Hospice House.
Sandy was born October 25, 1947 in Coffeyville, the daughter of Donald and Irma (Shipman) Brummond. She graduated from Campus High School in Wichita in 1965.
She worked for Key Bank in Binghamton, NY and then U.S. Bank in Topeka for over 20 years, retiring 2 years ago for health reasons.
Sandy married Robert "Bob" Pucek on November 3, 1973 in Binghamton, NY. He survives. Other survivors include son, Tim Pucek; daughter, Christine Pucek; two grandsons, Justin and Bobby, all of Topeka; and father, Donald Brummond, Freemont, NE. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Sandy will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 and visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
