Amy Elizabeth Stadler, 21, of Carbondale, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born May 21, 1988 in Topeka, the daughter of Claude and Karen (Sanner) Stadler. She graduated as Valedictorian of Kansas School for the Deaf in 2006. She graduated from Johnson County Community College 2009. She was employed by Grundfos in Olathe. She attended the Deaf Liberty Baptist Church, Overland Park.
Survivors include her parents of Carbondale; her sisters, Lindsey Stadler, Carbondale and Alexis Combs, Topeka; her brother, Jeremy (Meladie) Stadler, California; her maternal grandfather, James Sanner, Topeka; several aunts, uncles, cousins; a niece, and a nephew.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka. Interment will follow at Carbondale Cemetery, Carbondale, KS. Ms. Stadler will lie in state after 3 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Amy Stadler Memorial Fund.
