Amy Crubel

Amy L. Crubel, 82, of Topeka, passed away at home on August 25, 2006. She was born in Wildeshausen, Germany February 6, 1924 the daughter of Wilhelm and Katharina Schrott.

Amy was a Housemother for the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity for four years at K. State before she retired in 1987. She was a member of the German American Club in Topeka. Amy loved her faithful dog Lady.

She married Anthony M. De Lauro in 1955. They divorced. She later married Ray Crubel in 1987. He died in 1992. Survivors include daughters Christine (DeLauro) Ralph, her husband Kenny, Topeka and Elizabeth DeLauro of San Francisco, two brothers, Hugo and Friedhelm Schrott, Germany.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 2nd at Penwell Gabel Mid Town Chapel, Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be given to Helping Hands Humane Society.
