Alice Willbourn

Alice Czirr Willbourn, 95, Topeka, died Friday morning, Dec. 3, 2004. Mrs. Willbourn was born Dec. 23, 1908 in McFarland, Kansas, to August and Sophia Senne Czirr. She attended school in McFarland and Topeka. She married Russell J. Willbourn, Sr. on Dec. 22, 1928. They lived in Houston, Texas many years before his death in March of 1968. She was a homemaker. She was an active member in the Red Hat Society of Aldersgate Village. She has lived in Topeka since 1972. Mrs. Willbourn is survived by her son Russell J. Willbourn and his wife Louise of Topeka; daughter Merdith Willbourn, Houston, Texas; a grandson Dr. Dieter K. Kuntz and his wife Anne, and two great-grandchildren, Emma and Rudi all of Montgomery Village, Maryland. Nieces Edna Czirr Spencer, Topeka; Ethel Czirr Carter, Kansas City; Donna Pinkard White, Montrose, Colorado; Joanne Stephens Hempel, Topeka; Colleen Fahrbach Winner, Lawrence; Nephews, Paul Noller, Hemet, California; Donald and Charles Czirr, Kansas City, Kansas and Capt. Frank Stephens USN (Ret) Canyon Lake, Texas. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday at Foster Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town is in charge of arrangements.
