Alice B. Ward, 84, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, April 09, 2011.
Alice was born December 18, 1926, in Dallas, TX, daughter of T.D. and Madge (Duffer) Ward. She worked as an executive secretary for various businesses in the Dallas area. Alice is survived by her sister, Lois Nevitt, Topeka, nieces Ona Lois Burke, Cedar Creek, Tx, Martha Everts, Topeka, and Judy Rose, Danville, VA, nephews Dennie Franklin, Frisco, TX, Craig Ward, Raleigh, NC, and Trent Ward, Waxahachie, TX, and numerous great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2011, at Hutchins Cemetery, Hutchins, TX. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka, and Byrum Funeral Home, Lancaster, TX, are handling arrangements.
