Alice Roberta Peterson, 65, Carbondale, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at her mother's home surrounded by family.
Alice was born November 7, 1948 in Herington, the daughter of Robert D. and Alice (Massey) Morris. She attended Topeka schools.
She was a member of the Meriden United Methodist Church.
Alice married Fred Bradshaw in 1965. To this union, four children were born. They later divorced. She married Randy Peterson in 1986 and later divorced. Survivors include daughters, Amy Kalbach, Lawson, MO, Alicia Stonebraker, Goff, Peggy Hardesty, Topeka; son, John Bradshaw, Wichita; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Carswell, Topeka, Colette Grahem, Meriden, Erica Sands, Ozawkie; brothers, Danny Erdman, Meriden, Tommy and Michael Morris, both of Scottsboro, AL; and mother, Alice Schultz, Topeka. She was preceded in death by her father; grandson, Matthew Kalbach; and great-grandson, Robert Shunn.
She will be loved and missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 pm on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
