Alice Porter, 94, of Goff, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2004 at a Topeka Hospice House.
She was born July 31, 1910 in the Wetmore community, the daughter of Dawson and Matilda McRoberts Hall. She lived in the Wetmore and Goff communities her entire life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter , two brothers and six sisters. Survivors are a son, Leland Porter and his wife, Ruth Arlene.
Funeral Services will be held at the Mount Hope Cemetery Abbey Chapel on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Porter will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after 12:00 noon on Monday.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Wetmore Medical Clinic, Wetmore, Kansas 66550 or the Shriners Crippled Childrens Fund, C/O Arab Temple, 1305 S. Kansas Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66612
