Alice L. Johnson, 85, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Midland Hospice House.
Alice was born February 27, 1925 in Howden, OK, the daughter of Albert and Raine (Hall) Foster. She graduated from high school in Lenapah, OK.
She worked for Macy's for 20 years, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Cathedral.
Alice married Andrew Lee Johnson, Jr. on May 22, 1942 in Nowata, OK. He died May 18, 1995. Survivors include son, Eric D. Johnson, Topeka; step-daughter, Julia May Criss and Marcella Booker; daughter-in-law, Harvena Johnson; sisters, Barbara Traylor, Mildred Jamison; and half sisters, Liz and Diane Foster. She was also preceded in death by a son, Andrew L. Johnson, III.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 27, 2010 at Grace Episcopal Cathedral. Private family inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
