Alice Krumm

Alice Marie Krumm, 98, of Topeka, passed away at a local retirement community on Tuesday, December 21, 2004.

Mrs. Krumm was born July 11, 1906 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of August and Anna Jensen Pape. In 1927 she was united in mariage to Franklin Nelson. A son, Richard was born to this union.

Alice and her husband moved to Topeka in 1949. They were charter members of the Community Baptist Church. They moved to Colorado in 1954. In 1956, her husband died suddenly. She returned to Topeka in 1957 to be united with her beloved church.

She married Casper Krumm in 1969. He died in 1976. She was also preceeded in death by her son, Richard, two brothers, Alvin and Carl Pape and a sister, Ella Mae Higbee. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Leonard, Rockford, Il and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be announced by Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home in Belvidere, IL. Penwell-Gabel MId Town Chapel is in charge of Topeka arrangements.
