Alice M. Anderson 91, died Monday, November 10, 2003 at Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 5, 1912 in Topeka, the daughter of Fred W. Stone and Celia Chipman Stone.
She graduated from Seaman High School in 1930. She married Roy L. Bridgewater in 1931 in Topeka. He died August 5, 1958.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Lee Bridgewater and Harold L. Bridgewater and a grandson, John Bridgewater.
She married Norman Anderson in 1971. He died March 30, 1980.
She was employed by Bank of America in California, Credit Bureau of Topeka and Similar Mode Fashions in Topeka.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Topeka
Survivors include one grandson, Donald Bridgewater, Riverside, California; two stepchildren, Gary Anderson, Topeka , Neale Anderson, Belvue, KS,; niece, Barbara Kingman, Topeka; nephew, Jack Kramer, Topeka eight step grandchildren, fifteen step great grandchildren and three step great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Anderson will lie in state after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church, 3033 SW MacVicar, Topeka, Kansas 66611.
