A choice daughter of God, Alexandra "Cindy" Wright, 49, of Topeka, returned home to Him on March 25, 2024.
She was born on November 27, 1974, to Jose Sejas and Liliana Mendoza in La Paz, Bolivia.
Alexandra moved to Miami, Florida in her teen years and was very proud to become a naturalized citizen of the United States of America in February 1999. She studied nursing at Washburn University and worked as a CNA and various other job positions in Topeka.
On April 16, 2011, she married John Wright II, in the Winter Quarters Nebraska Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alexandra and John lived together in Topeka, Kansas.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an animal rights advocate.
Alexandra is survived by her husband; John, father; Jose (Tiffany) Sejas, mother; Liliana (Rick) Mandigo, brothers, J. Andres Sejas, Jose Sejas, A.J. Mandigo, sisters, Diana L. Sejas, Leandra (Sean) Bailey, Racheli Vidal, and Andrea (Darrell) Harriman.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at the Penwell-Gabel Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66604 from 4pm until 8pm.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30am, on Friday, April 5th, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2401 SW Kingsrow Road, Topeka, Kansas 66614, with Bishop Jared Muir, officiating.
Alexandra's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
