Ada Bishop, 86, of Topeka, passed away on August 6, 2018 at Midland Care.
She was born on March 6, 1932 in Overbrook, KS the daughter of Alva and Mary Miller. She married Floyd Bishop on July 14, 1967.
She enjoyed spending time with family as well as her friends at Brewster. She also enjoyed playing bingo on Wednesday evenings and reading in her spare time.
She is survived by children, Bob Cooper (Lea), Beth Shepard (Todd), and Joe Cooper; siblings Alva LaVerle Miller and twin sister Vada Smith; as well as nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Bishop; daughter, Connie Fairchild; grandchildren, Scott Fairchild and Arica Ahlvers; and sister, Dorothy Reece.
The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm. on Wednesday, August 8th at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9th in the Chapel at Brewster Place, 1205 SW 29th Street, Topeka. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Berryton, KS.
