Abbie P. Johnson, 75, Topeka, passed away on Wed., Jan. 9, 2008 at Midland Hospice House.
Abbie was born in Salt Lake City, UT on March 29, 1932, the daughter of Humphrey and Verdie Peake.
Abbie married George H. Johnson in Salt Lake City, UT in 1952. He preceded her death on May 7, 1977.
She worked for Stormont-Vail Health Care as a Monitor Technician retiring after 10 years of service.
Abbie was a member of Mater Dei Catholic Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Fletcher of Hamburg, NY; Diana M. Keith of Wakarusa, WI; Eva Johnson of Topeka; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Abbie was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Johnson and Janice Payne.
Abbie will lie in state after 1:00p.m., Mon., Jan. 14 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where a Parish Rosary will be recited at 6:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00a.m., Tues., Jan. 15 at Mater Dei Catholic Church, Holy Name site. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mater Dei Catholic Church or Midland Hospice House.
