1SG Patrick E. Centamore, 46, passed away November 30, 2015, in Junction City, KS.
Patrick was born August 28, 1969, in Meadeville, PA, to John Vincent Centamore, Sr. and Sandra Lee Emmons.
He was currently serving in the U.S. Army, stationed at Ft. Riley in Kansas. He was deployed to Iraq in 2003 for seven months and again in 2005 for 12 months. In 2009, he was deployed to Afghanistan for 11 months and again in 2012 for nine months. A highly decorated soldier, he received numerous medals including, the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal.
He was survived by his loving wife, Lisa Marie (Tribbett) Centamore; four children, Ciara, Bryce, Bailey, and Lillian Centamore; his mother, Sanda Lee Centamore; four siblings, John Centamore, Debbie Beil, Kara (Andy) Taylor, and Christopher (Allison) Centamore; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Patrick was preceded in death by father.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Morris Hill Chapel, 5313 Jackson St Warner Heights, Fort Riley, KS 66442. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS.
