Cristal Ann Sassaman-Roberts, 48, of Topeka, Kansas passed away at her home in Topeka, Kansas on June 6, 2024, joining all those she loved who passed before her.
She was born November 4, 1975, in Olathe, Kansas to Connie Livingston and Stephen Sassaman. Cristal was predeceased by her father, Stephen, brother Benjamin, her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Cristal attended school at Carbondale and Olathe, KS and graduated from Reeds Spring High School in Missouri. After graduation, Cristal worked for MCI in Springfield. Moving back to Kansas she was employed by Capital Plaza. Cristal made the move to Florida and was employed by WIC as a lactation consultant. In 2018, Cristal moved back to Kansas and went to work for both Burlingame and SFT school districts in food service. Cristal also sold Bomb Party Jewelry and loved it. She loved nothing more than watching the “FIZZ.”
She owned and operated Sassy’s Pit Stop Liquor in Topeka and enjoyed her customers and vendors so much! The name of her store fit her personality to a T! If you knew Cristal, you knew she was full of sass! Cristal had a boisterous voice and personality and you always knew she was in the room.
Cristal loved music, always ready for a good concert, a good time and ALWAYS ready for an adventure. She was always “smartassey.” She loved 4-wheeling, riding Harley Davidson and loved dogs. Cristal was an avid Chiefs fan, KU Jayhawks and KC Royals fan. She also loved watching her children participate in sports and going to anything that they were involved in.
She was married to Paul Correa on 11-11-11. He passed away in 2017. Cristal married Warren Roberts August 31, 2018 in Florida.
Cristal was a daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, niece, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Cristal is survived by her children; Brooklyn Sassaman, Evan Holic, Olivia Roberts and Emmanual Roberts, Tyler, Stephen and Makenzie Roberts, her grandchildren; Dawson, Paisley and Wyatt. Cristal also leaves behind her mother, Connie Livingston and her sister Molly Super.
Family will meet with friends for a visitation on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Penwell Gabel Mid-Town Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 1:00pm at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town.
Cremation to Follow.
