Robert Allen "Rob" Morris

Robert "Rob" Morris, 76, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Kansas University-St. Francis in Topeka, Kansas.
He was born on July 21, 1947, the son of Ralph and Marjorie (Powell) Morris in Topeka, Kansas.
Rob graduated high school at Topeka High School in 1965.
On September 7th, 1974, Rob was united in marriage to Kathy Byler at the Northland Christian Church in Topeka. Together they had three children.
Rob was a passionate conversationalist who never knew a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, sports and traveling. He would tell people he had been everywhere with his bus tour travels, met famous people and loved a good handshake. He was a unique person who had a large look on life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sherry Sieliet and brother Steve Morris.
Rob is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; children, Melissa (Jeff) Boyer of Topeka, KS, Geoff (Kristy) Morris of Topeka, KS, Steven Morris of Topeka, KS; eight grandchildren and his loving cat, Peanut.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101.
Celebration of life will be held at the Westlake Shelter House in Gage Park, 635 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66606 on June 2nd, 2024, from 11am-2pm.
