Mark G. Huske, 69, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024.
He was born February 23, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Jake Huske and Betty (Hargis) Valyer.
Mark worked many years at Joe Little's General Contractors in Topeka.
On November 23, 1977, he married Deanna Harmon in Topeka. She preceded him in death on June 21, 2022. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tasha Holguin, infant grandson, Connor; two sisters, Karen and Nancy, his parents, step-dad, Bob Valyer, and step-sister, Susan Suki Blakely.
Survivors include a daughter, Ashlee (Oscar) Mendoza; brother, Tim Huske; sister, Lori Potts; seven grandchildren, Kendrick, Mackenzie, Mason, Beck, Blakeleigh, Nataleigh, and Junior.
Mark enjoyed building things and was always doing something in his garage. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and westerns, but most of all spending time with his grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ashlee Mendoza in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66604 to help with funeral expenses and burial.
