Marion E Dowell, 71, of Topeka, passed away on January 10, 2024 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born on March 16, 1952 to John and Claire (Hannigan) Buckelew at Edison, NJ.
Marion worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor for 4 years,before that she worked at various jobs providing as a single mother . She loved playing board games and cards with her friends in the community she lived in. She also loved to read books. Her favorite thing to do was being with family and friends.
Marion lived in Topeka, Kansas from 1972- 2024.
She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
Marion is survived by her daughters; Emily (Larry) Moore of Topeka, KS, and Sarah (Darrell) Fassett of Mehoopany, PA. and grandchildren; Taylor Bender of Palm Bay, FL, Sierra Moore and David Moore both of Topeka, KS. Her sisters Lynn Wells of Topeka, KS. Nancy Buckelew of Biloxi, MS. Michelle Marine of Biloxi, MS.
She was preceded in death by her father; John Paul Buckelew, mother; Claire Buckelew.
