Michael Anthony Hunt

Michael Anthony Hunt passed on to the next chapter of his life on December 27, 2023. He was born on February 12, 1956, to Jimmie Lee Booze and Hillard Booze. Michael had two siblings, Elbert Hunt and Rosie Lee [Hunt] Zellers. He also had several cousins spanning the country from the Carolinas to California. Michael was born and raised in Topeka Kansas, where he graduated from Topeka High School in 1974.

Michael was a loving husband and father. Michael spent much of his life in Topeka, Kansas. Much of his adult life was spent working for the State of Kansas as a NCC Tech. He enjoyed spending time with close friends and family. Michael was a tough stubborn, but fair man. He always stated, "You make your own heaven and hell right here on earth". He lived by this quote for better and worse but ultimately took ownership of his time on this earth. Michael could strike up a conversation with anyone, especially when it came to taste in music! He loved spending time at a local watering hole, not just for the libations, but for the interactions with people and socializing that came along with the time there. The man also had an eclectic taste in television ranging from Star Trek to Bar Rescue to watching football games! Michael meant so much to those that were close to him, and he had a profound effect on those who had the privilege of being a part of his life on this earth.

Michael is survived by his two sons Jourdan Hunt and Nathan Hunt, daughter-in-law Sheryl Hunt, and older brother Elbert Hunt.
