Charlotte A. Herrmann, 79, of Wakarusa, passed away on January 1, 2024.
She was born on December 20, 1944 to Glenn and Mildred (Moore) Miles at Topeka, KS. Charlotte was married to Henry J Herrmann on June 6, 1966 and they were married until his death in May 1995.
Charlotte worked her entire career as a Registered Nurse. During that time, she was employed by the Colmery O'Neil Veterans Administration Medical Center, as night nursing supervisor and after retirement at local nursing and assisted living facilities.
Charlotte loved knitting and crocheting. And did this at anytime that she was sitting still. She donated many baby blankets to the local hospitals, and lap blankets to area nursing facilities.
She was preceded in death by her father; Glenn Miles, mother; Mildred Miles, husband; Henry Herrmann, and sister; Helen "Sue" Chambliss.
Charlotte is survived by her partner of more than 20 years; William "Bill" Tefft, a daughter; Rachel Anno, two Grandson; Cody Anno (Julie) and Ethan Anno (Megan), a great granddaughter; Chevelle Anno, and two great grandsons; Rutledge Anno and Edward "Hayes" Anno. She is also survived by two sisters; Betty Miles (Bill) and Margaret Browning (Ronald).
