Louise Hughes, 90 passed away on September 29, 2023. She was born on January 13, 1933 in Big Piney, Missouri to Francis (Robbins) and Steven Underwood, she was the oldest of three girls.
Her one true love was Warren Hughes and her baby Sophie a little Shih-Tzu dog her loving companion. Louise married Warren on January 16, 1949 in Lyndon, KS and he precedes her in death, Louise was a stay at home mother who managed the farm while Warren was an over the road truck driver, although they later divorced, the love was always there between the two of them.
She is preceded in death by her father; Steven Underwood, mother; Francis Smith, step father; Larry Smith, sisters; Bernice Peppiatt, Lucille Ratzlaff, son; Donald Howard Hughes, grandsons; Jesse Hughes, Shawn Hughes, nephews; Terry Ross and David Ross, and their father; Buel Ross.
She is survived by children; Linda Demler, Donna (Steven) St Clair, Michael Hughes Sr., Barbara Manis, Kathie Hughes, Connie Hughes, Dale (Lou Ann) Hughes, grandchildren; Belinda (Derek) Harsford, Stacy Blanchett, Desiree Fuentes, Chriss (Chloe) Reece, James Demler Jr., Jessie Demler, Michael Hughes Jr., Angela Hughes, Amy Hughes, Danielle (Saul) Yanez, Eric Florez, Nakia Florez, Shelly Manis, Lori Manis, Roger Hughes, Joann Hughes, Randy Hughes, Curtis Hughes, many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
