Robin E. Shrimplin

Robin E. Shrimplin, 61, of Topeka, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023. She was born April 30, 1962, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Ernest Edwin and Willa Jean (Saylors) Anderson.
She graduated from Topeka West High School in 1980 and attended Washburn University.
Robin was an administrative assistant at the History Department of Washburn University. She spent many years dedicated to her community and her love of history. She gave tours for the Historic Ritchie House and developed and ran a program for Stout Elementary students known as History After School.
She is survived by her life long partner Richard Shrimplin, their children: Crystal Guerrero, Rhianna Khramez, and Heather Shrimplin. Grandchildren: Sierra Adkins, Jordan Thacher, Tristen Thacher, and Isaac Torres.
She was preceded in death by her parents and younger sister, Kristen Ralls.
Robin enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and puppy Kelce, discussing all things history, baking holiday candy, and watching Chiefs Football.
A celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date.
