Darryl Lynn Coleman

Darryl Lynn Coleman, 63, was killed tragically May 24, 2023.

He was the youngest of three sons born to Donald S. and Mary E. Coleman, both of whom preceded him in death.
Darryl was a life-long resident of Topeka, Kansas. He attended Whitson Elementary School, Capper Junior High School, and Topeka West High School. He graduated from Topeka West and Kaw Area Vocational Technical School in 1977.

Over the years, he worked at a number of different jobs, primarily in Topeka but also in Lawrence and in Holton, often as a machinist or forklift operator. For the past eleven years, he had been employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Topeka. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, and socializing with friends. He was an avid fan of K-State football and basketball. He had a particular fondness and concern for cats and always kept at least one as a pampered pet.

Darryl is survived by his two brothers, Donald D. and Keith A. Coleman.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on June 13 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
