Christopher Joseph Siefer, 46, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023.
He was born April 3, 1976, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Mark Stephen and Constance "Connie" Lee (Penrod) Siefer. He attended Topeka High School.
Chris loved basketball, baseball, and football. He was a gifted athlete with multiple baseball scholarship offers. He was firmly centered in a circle of love from family, friends and caregivers. He found happiness despite his impairments and brought joy to others through his laughter. Chris demonstrated the absolute ideal of resilience. His strong will is a Siefer trait. We are inspired by him to love one another, to lift each other up, to give grace, and to be grateful.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Connie Siefer, and his brothers, Ronnie Boettcher and Damon Anderson.
Survivors include his brothers, David (Jenny) Siefer and Robbie Boettcher, Timothy Barber, nieces and nephew, Lexi Siefer, Damon Siefer, and Jazmine Anderson, and "bro" Ken Myers.
Christopher was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:00 am., Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Penwell-Gabel - Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue , Topeka, Kansas 66604. Interment of the cremated remains will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas following the service.
