Mildred "Millie" Louise Roberts, 84, passed from this world on August 31, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 28, 1934 in Belle Plaine KS, daughter of Hazel and Louis Allen.
Topeka was Millie's final home but lived in Kansas City, KS and Vassar, KS most of her life. Millie is survived by her husband in marriage of 67 years, James "Jimmie" Roberts also of Topeka, KS, three children; Jimmie Roberts of Cerritos, CA; Dale Roberts of Jersey City, NJ; and Diana Kubie of Topeka, KS. There are 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also mourning her passing. Millie was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Allen and a sister, Beverly Allen.
Millie was the true heart of her family, and always found joy in the happiness of others, her infectious grin and giggle is gone but will never be forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Vassar Cemetery.
