Donna L. Deason, 50, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at her residence.

Donna was born on September 30, 1962 in Kansas City, Kansas to Curtis D. and Donna L. (Copenhaver) Deason. She graduated from Gardner High School in 1980 and continued on with her education at Emporia State College, where she graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She worked for over 30 years as a registered nurse.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will take place at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herington, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, KS 66604 or to the Eventide Convalescent Center, 2015 SE 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66607.
