Funeral Director Pat Sears has been a member of the Topeka community since 1978. Pat and his wife Mille have three grown children. A retired member of the Kansas Highway Patrol, Pat now serves Topeka families at Penwell-Gabel, providing compassionate, professional care. Pat is also an active member of his church.

When you come to our funeral home, you might recognize a former school teacher, or a fellow member of a club, or fraternal or veteran’s organization. Many of our staff joined our funeral home after attending services here, or after using our funeral home in their own time of loss. After seeing the difference that a compassionate professional can make for a family in the stressful time of loss, they wanted an opportunity to help others in the same way.
